Camera Rental Expertise
What camera systems are available in New York?
We source all major cinema camera systems including ARRI Alexa 35, Mini LF, and Alexa Mini; RED V-Raptor, Komodo, and Gemini; Sony Venice 2, FX9, and FX6; Blackmagic URSA series; and Panavision DXL2 and Millennium cameras. Specialty cameras for high-speed, underwater, and aerial also available.
How far in advance should I book camera equipment?
We recommend 2-4 weeks advance booking for standard packages and 4-6 weeks for specialized equipment or during busy periods (May-September). However, we maintain emergency availability and can often accommodate last-minute requests through our rental network.
Do you provide camera technicians with rentals?
Yes, we can arrange qualified camera technicians, DITs, and prep technicians to accompany your rental. Services include on-set support, daily camera prep, data management, and troubleshooting throughout your production.
How do you handle equipment for international productions?
We coordinate all logistics for international productions including ATA carnet processing, customs documentation, and delivery coordination. Our team handles the paperwork so your equipment clears smoothly into New York.
What's included in camera prep?
Full camera prep includes sensor cleaning, lens calibration, functionality testing of all components, firmware updates, battery conditioning, and cable/connector verification. We provide detailed reports and ensure everything is production-ready.
Can you source specialty or vintage lenses?
Yes, we source specialty glass including anamorphic lenses (Panavision, Cooke, ARRI), vintage rehoused lenses, and unique character glass. We work with specialty rental houses across the US to find the specific look you're seeking.
