Shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel have used 360 pickups for promotional material. The Disney+, Apple TV+ and HBO Max content marketing teams routinely commission immersive companions for tentpole releases — the NY infrastructure handles all of it.

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Production planning starts with platform selection. Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, YouTube VR, Pico — because fix targets, codec needs and projection format drive the camera choice and the post pipeline. We scout for sightline obstructions and rig-concealment options across the boroughs, file the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) Made in NY permit for street and park work, set up with the NYPD Movie & TV Unit for closures, and clear any MTA or Parks Department touch-points before the first array goes up.

Here is how the picture comes together. Spatial audio capture runs Ambisonic B-format on Sennheiser Ambeo, Rode NT-SF1 and Zoom H3-VR rigs synchronised to the camera array, with separate lavalier and shotgun coverage for the discrete sources. Stereoscopic 3D 360 capture for headset viewing adds a second rig pass and tighter parallax management at the stitch stage.
