The walk-and-talk vocabulary that defined the Aaron Sorkin and West Wing era — and that Mrs. Maisel pushed into its own oner aesthetic — sits at the centre of the New York gimbal repertoire.

Here is what we have to work with. Workflow on the street starts with the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) Made in NY permit, NYPD Movie & TV Unit planning for any rolling sidewalk closure, and the Hudson River Park Trust or NYC Parks forms for filming in the High Line, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Central Park, Prospect Park and the Domino Park district. Inside the stages, gimbal ops work alongside the steadicam pool and the gaffer teams handling the LED volume work for hybrid virtual-production setups at Steiner Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Here is the layout. Wireless follow-focus through Preston FI+Z, Teradek RT and ARRI cforce systems lets the focus puller pull from distance, while wireless video through Teradek Bolt and Hollyland Pyro feeds the village monitors.
